Today, I was visiting a meeting in the city's library discussing about basics of drawing manga. We weren't more than 7 people (including the lady that took photos of us and provided snacks). As we sat down and sketched some manga characters, I felt like my inspiration was gradually growing back up again.

I haven't drawn manga for... how many days?

For 2 fricking years!

Why?
Maybe you have heard it before but those last times I've drawn pictures, I was a victim of some sort of perfection anxiety. I draw a line, it's too rough or misplaced, I don't like it, I erase it, repeat until I finally got it right. I'm content with how my manga drawings end up like, but I've been quite frustrated for taking such a long time fixing details while still drawing pics. I finally got into another hobby and dropped manga drawing for good, if not until now.

I didn't regret going into that meeting, I just felt I needed to get back into this hobby someday. I have imaginary characters in mind and I want them on papers! If not you, then who else? Huh?
